"Calm under pressure, detail-focused, and patient-centered."

§01

From the Nurse’s Station

Nursing has taught me that strong care shows up in both the urgent moments and the quiet ones. My experience has taken me through different areas of patient care, from the fast pace of the emergency department as an ER tech, to cardiothoracic/telemetry nursing, PACU, GI/endoscopy, and outpatient procedural care. Each setting has shaped the way I practice: staying calm under pressure, noticing the small details, communicating clearly, and helping patients feel safe during vulnerable moments.

As I continue pursuing my BSN, I am building on that clinical foundation with a stronger focus on leadership, evidence-based practice, and patient safety. My approach to nursing is simple: be prepared, be present, and treat every interaction like it matters. That mindset has guided my growth as a nurse and was recognized through the DAISY Award for extraordinary nursing care.

What I Bring to the Team

Clinical Judgment & Patient Safety: My background across emergency care, cardiothoracic telemetry, PACU, and procedural nursing has strengthened my ability to recognize changes early, prioritize patient needs, and respond with safety at the center of care.

Prioritization & Workflow: I am comfortable balancing multiple moving parts, including assessments, monitoring, documentation, discharges, patient flow, and changes in condition. I try to stay organized while remaining flexible when the shift changes quickly.
